Since 1949, Child Health has contributed over $3.6 million to over 300 non-profit organizations serving children in western Pennsylvania. Our grants, awarded through a rigorous grant making process, generally range from $1000 to $10,000.
Child Health does not support capital campaigns, endowments, or fundraising activities. While Child Health prefers to fund specific programs and items that directly impact children, we understand that operational expenses to support such programs need to be funded. Because of this, we are willing to consider funding operating budget expenses.
Grant proposals from eligible non-profit organizations are submitted by September 1 and February 1 for consideration for Fall and Spring grant cycles.
"The Child Health Association of Sewickley has been such a blessing to our school. The financial support we've received has impacted our students' futures, and their heartfelt belief in our mission serves as a daily inspiration to our entire community. We were honored to be the beneficiary of the 2006 Annual Ball. What a wonderful event! The creative team was a joy to work with and our students loved visiting the Edgeworth Club and performing for the attendees.
The Child Health Association has been a valuable partner in our students' journey toward a college education. Thank you for helping us provide some of Pittsburgh's most economically challenged students with a private, college-preparatory education."
