Sewickley is steeped in history. Once a summer haven for industrialists and business leaders, the area maintains the feeling of a bygone era with its historic homes and village atmosphere. For two days every other year, local homeowners offer a glimpse into the area’s gracious past, or a stunning vision of the state-of-the-art in design and function. Homes are chosen for architectural and historic importance. Containing one-of-a-kind furniture, original works of art, beautiful fresh floral arrangements, and ingenious decorating touches by renowned interior designers, each tour is typically proclaimed “the best yet!”
