Sewickley is steeped in history. Once a summer haven for industrialists and business leaders, the area maintains the feeling of a bygone era with its historic homes and village atmosphere. For two days every other year, seven local homeowners offer a glimpse into the area’s gracious past, or a stunning vision of the state-of-the-art in design and function. Homes are chosen for architectural and historic importance. Containing one-of-a-kind furniture, original works of art, beautiful fresh floral arrangements, and ingenious decorating touches by renowned interior designers, each tour is typically proclaimed “the best yet!”

Our next tour is scheduled for Friday, May 4 and Saturday, May 5, 2012. The tour will run on Friday, May 4 from 9:00am-4:00pm for bus ($88, which includes lunch) and self-guided ($30) walking tours and from 6:00pm-9:00pm for a self-guided Candlelight Tour (also $30). On Saturday, May 5, self-guided walking tours run from 9:00am-4:00pm. As in years past, a bus tour by Lenzner Coach Lines will be available.
